Transport Safety Victoria (TSV) creates documents and records in the course of its work. TSV uses an electronic documents and records management system to classify, store, access and manage electronic and hard copy documents.
The types of documents that TSV handles include:

- briefings and reports
- case files
- applications and licences
- meeting records
- financial records
- photographs, images and multimedia objects
- maps and plans.
