Rail regulation transitions to national scheme

2 December 2019

From 12.01am on Monday 2 December 2019, the regulation of Victorian trams and tourist and heritage rail operators became the responsibility of the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR).

As of this date, the transition of all Victorian train and tram operations to the national scheme will be complete.
